Mathematics tutoring
Introduction
Hello! I am a current sophomore at Johnson County Community College, and I am planning on transferring to the University of Missouri-Kansas City this upcoming fall as a Business Administration major with an emphasis in Human Resources Management and Leadership. I have a collegiate 3.8 GPA, and I graduated from Olathe East High School with a 4.1 GPA. Furthermore, I endorsed with High Honors within the Future Educators Academy, graduated from the National Honors Society, and have participated in numerous leadership and volunteering clubs. During my freshman year of college, I attended the University of Kansas, where I was an ambassador for the admissions team; I gave tours to prospective students and families. Additionally, I was in the Honors program, and I have completed a plethora of AP and honors courses in high school, too. I am humbled and grateful to have been graced with many experiences that have ultimately aligned with my outgoing and hard-working personality.
While I no longer wish to pursue teaching as a career, I love working with students, and people in general, to help them succeed in every area. As a senior in high school, I student taught Intermediate Algebra everyday - I've worked with students from various ranges of expertise; I've also worked with students that have learning accommodations (IEPs and 504 plans). Payment and Scheduling
I am free every day, and can be flexible based on the time for the session. I will let you know personally if I need to reschedule or meet with you, or your student, a different time or day of the week (depending if you are looking for consistent tutoring). I am open to tutoring at the Blue Valley - Johnson County Library, the Olathe Indian Creek Library, or at the house of the student/child if it's in proximity to my location. I can also tutor via Zoom as well. We can further discuss where the tutoring will take place after you contact me!
Each session will last 1 - 2 hours and will be held once a week during the school year. The first tutoring session will be free before you decide to continue with my services! After the first session, if you do wish to continue, my payment rate is $12.50/hr. I accept payment through Venmo, and cash works as well. Let me know at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel for that session or if there are any issues. I am flexible with my schedule, but please do not be more than 10 minutes late to dropping off your student/child or picking them up if the tutoring is being held outside of the house. If I need to cancel a tutoring session after the 24 hour grace period is concluded, you will be refunded with no additional fees!
